A connection error occurred while retrieving the page

Connection errors are errors that occur during communication with the server and prevent the page from loading. These errors are identified through codes by Google Chrome, the most common errors are :

  • ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED: connection closed
  • ERR_CONNECTION_FAILED: connection attempt failed
  • ERR_CONNECTION_ABORTED: connection expired
  • ERR_CONNECTION_RESET: reset the connection

When this type of error occurs, it is necessary to :

  • check the configuration and proper functioning of the server and any firewall or proxy protection system
  • add an exception on your firewall/proxy for our bots. They are identified thanks to their user-agents (they don't have fixed IPs) :
